Initial and follow-up consultations are $105 for 30 minutes at our Frankston clinic.
What to expect at your first appointment
Tell Ash about the problem
Start with what has been happening and what you want help with. Ash will ask about your health history, what aggravates or eases your symptoms, how they change through the day and night, and what you want to get back to doing. You do not need to know the cause before you arrive.
A look at how you move
Ash will look at relevant movement and ask how it feels. Depending on the concern, assessment may also include strength, balance, load tolerance and a hands-on check of stiffness and sensitivity. He will explain the findings and discuss suitable options with you.
Treatment that fits your problem
A usual consultation includes treatment where appropriate. This may involve hands-on therapy, dry needling with your consent, exercises or practical changes to daily activity or training. Ash will check your response and explain what to monitor afterwards. Some changes take time, and some problems need ongoing rehabilitation.
A clear plan before you leave
You will leave with a follow-up plan. This may include exercises and advice to use at home, booking another appointment to review progress, or discussion of imaging or referral if appropriate. Ash will talk you through the next step and why he recommends it.
Before you arrive and what to bring
Wear comfortable clothing that allows the relevant area to be assessed. Bring any useful scans, reports or referral letters if you have them, although private patients do not need a GP referral.

Payment, rebates and booking changes
You can pay by cash or EFTPOS.
HICAPS is available on site for on-the-spot private health insurance claims. Your rebate depends on your policy and available cover.

Life happens, and we understand that plans can change. If you can’t make it, please call or text us on 0401 825 644 as soon as you know. A day’s notice is great, but even a message at your appointment time is better than leaving us wondering where you are.
It’s just Ash treating and his wife looking after reception, so a quick heads-up makes a real difference and may let us offer the time to someone else. We’re happy to be flexible. If missed appointments or last-minute changes become a habit, though, it is frustrating for our small team, and we’ll have a friendly chat about how to make future bookings work better.
