Wrist pain physio Frankston
Wrist and hand care for the tasks you rely on
Wrist symptoms can interrupt typing, gripping, lifting or bearing weight through your hand. Ash assesses the movements and tasks that are difficult, explains the findings and helps you build a plan for returning to everyday use, work or exercise.
What your wrist assessment may include
Symptoms can follow a fall or sprain, repeated gripping or loading, joint or tendon irritation, or a nerve problem. Pain, tingling or weakness may also relate to the forearm, elbow, shoulder or neck. Ash will assess the areas relevant to your symptoms and goals.
Treatment and return to activity
Your plan may include education, temporary changes to aggravating tasks, hands-on physiotherapy, taping where appropriate, mobility work and progressive strengthening of the wrist, hand or arm. If a fracture, significant nerve problem or another condition may require medical review or imaging, Ash will explain the next step.
